5. Payment
We accept Credit Card payment online through our e-store or by calling our offices. You may also pay ‘offline’ via Cheque or Bank Transfer. VAT is charged at the current rate where applicable. Goods will only be dispatched once payment has been received in full. All products remain the property of Shimmer until payment is received in full. A credit account may be opened by corporate clients, subject to trade references and application approval, on the strict condition that payment is made within 30 days from date of invoice. 6. Taxes and Duties
Shimmer is not liable for any customs, importation taxes, duties or requirements that may apply in your Country or State.
7. Cancellation
Orders may be changed or cancelled up to 3 working days prior to delivery date requested.

You are always welcome to send comment, critical or complimentary to [email protected]. We advise you to make any complaint within 3 working days of the date of delivery or intended delivery of your purchase.
9. Delivery
The goods are delivered by courier to your address within a few working days (this depends on your location) after the order and payment have been received. We endeavour to ship within 3 working days of order receipt. You will receive a tracking number notification to your e-mail address. With the waybill number you can track your delivery. Please note: Deliveries take place between 8 am – 6 pm on weekdays.
On rare occasions Shimmer may not be able to deliver the ordered type of products, or the needed amount of products. Shimmer reserves the rights to cancel the delivery, or to postpone it. Shimmer evaluates the time period required for fulfilling the delivery of the order and informs the customer. The customer can then choose, whether to wait for the delivery, or to cancel the order and receive the paid money back immediately.
10. Shipping to Mexico, India and Turkey
Please be advised that due to import issues with Mexican, Indian and Turkish customs, no orders will be shipped by Shimmer directly to these countries. If you are a customer located in the above mentioned countries, please contact a Shimmer sales representative to arrange for a freight forwarder to handle delivery of your order.
11. Returns
If you wish to put in a claim for any product purchased through Shimmer or claim for refund please follow the instructions herein:
Please check your order/receipt as soon as it arrives to ensure you have received the intended content(s), in the right conditions. Please notify us, e-mail address: [email protected] immediately upon receipt, within two (2) business days of your receipt, of any missing or damaged packages and any other claims regarding other apparent defect or apparent non-conformity.
Any hidden defects or hidden non-conformities should be notified to us, e-mail address [email protected] within thirty (30) days of discovery but no later than ninety (90) days of the delivery of the nonconforming or defective item.
Retain all contents, original packaging materials, and shipping boxes. This is a prerequisite for filing the claim(s). (FAILURE TO DO SO CAN RESULT IN THE DENIAL OF YOUR CLAIM AND THE REFUND OR REPLACEMENT OF YOUR PURCHASE).
The sole remedy for defected, missing, damaged or in other ways, non-conforming products is a repair, replacement or refund of the sales price, whichever the Company deems appropriate. The Company has the right to decline returning any product that clearly has been abused or damaged. Shimmer will not refund any one-time use items such as EDA, ECG EMG, or GSR electrodes if they have been deemed to be used or the packet has been opened or damaged. A restocking fee may apply. Shimmer does not cover associated shipping charges.
Shimmer’s standard business warranty policy is 1 year, should you require to extend this please contact your Account Executive who will discuss our very competitive warranty extension plans.
12. Purchase and License Agreements
All hardware purchased on this site is subject to our then current Purchase Agreement. All software is subject to our then current Software License Agreement. In the case of any conflict between this page and these agreements, the agreements will prevail.
