March 22, 2016, Boston, MA USA – Geoffrey Gill has joined Shimmer Sensing as the President, Shimmer Americas. In this role, he will lead the U.S. operations of Shimmer Sensing and the commercial efforts for both North and South America. He will be a key member of the global management team with particular focus on business and product strategy for the consumer neuroscience and medical markets.
Geoff joins Shimmer from Innerscope Research, Inc., a leading consumer neuroscience company, where he took a wide variety of roles over seven years, most recently as CFO/SVP of Operations. He was heavily involved in negotiating and executing the sale of Innerscope to Nielsen Consumer Neuroscience in mid-2015. In addition, Geoff has extensive relevant experience, including, for example, as VP of R&D for Bayer Diagnostics Critical Care division and Global Market Manager of Weidmann Electrical Technology’s Crepe Paper division. Mr. Gill has a AB in Applied Math and Physics from Harvard University and an MS in Management of Technology from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
