Dublin, November 04th 2017 -Representatives from Shimmer – leading provider of clinical grade wireless wearable sensors – have announced that the company will once again be in attendance at the annual Medica trade fair in Messe Dusseldorf from the 13th to the 16th of November this year. This will be Shimmer’s fourth appearance at the international event, and the team are gearing up to showcase the Shimmer platform as well as the newest and most advanced generation of Shimmer’s ECG and software offering – ConsensysPRO.
Members of the Shimmer team will be on hand over the course of the four day event at the Wearable Technologies Stand – Stand A23, in Hall 15. Visitors to the stand will have the opportunity to observe the Shimmer wearable data capture platform in action, the Shimmer research ECG-md ( medical device) with defibrillation protection, as well as experience a live demonstration of the functions and features of the its flagship software offering.
In addition to the above Shimmer will also be showcasing the advanced features of its clinical-grade 5 Lead wearable ECG with simultaneous respiration and motion capture. Visitors will gain insight into untapped abilities for lead-off and respiration detection along with other highlights of the highly customizable sensor platform.
Also, Shimmer’s Marketing Manager, Martina Donohue will also give an informative presentation at the Smart Materials & Tech for Mobile Devices Session at the connected health forum on Tuesday, 14th November. Her talk will be focused on how wearable technology has the power to revolutionize the healthcare industry, including insights into the key drivers for wearable sensor use in clinical trials. Wearable Technology plays a vital role in connected health, but in particular wearable wireless sensing has the ability to provide unprecedented levels of access and information in relation to its patients and their healthcare.
