Shimmer is delighted to announce that our Shimmer3 IMU 200g Force sensor is now available on general release. This sensor was initially developed for custom projects that required high g force measurement. Following it’s successful deployment we have now made available to our research community and user base.
The Shimmer3 IMU 200g is integrated into our standard Shimmer3 IMU unit, thus allowing best data quality 9DoF inertial sensing via accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer and altimeter. The Shimmer3 IMU 200g sensor can be used in a variety of applications such as concussion and head trauma detection, blast detection and sports science to name a few.
